It probably doesn't matter but witch would work better 1/8 or 3/16 coated cable for the snare, would the 1/8" work better in the cam lock.

Mine is  made with 3/16" , the thicker cable works better than 1/8" ( better grip in the lock ) , plus the smaller diameter will not hold a loop as well making it a little tougher to lasso a dino .
