I wanted to go up to the mendo coast and fish Monday but it looks like the water will be rough. Is anyone going to the bay? Are the butts/stripers still biting?

I haven't caught a leapord shark yet is this a good time to catch them? Is ARW a good location for leapord sharks?

We're set. We will try to launch ARW by 630 am. Company welcome. Chanel 69. If someone wants to come with live bait for butts we would be happy to share the cost. The plan for now is squid for rays and Leapords just to see if we can catch something big for fun.

If your talking about live bait from berkeley, they only sell to the Party boats at the Moment,

The bait boats are under contract to catch sardines for manufacturing right now,

Don't be shy about bouncing fish traps in Green/white or wild eye storm anchovie swim baits..

 and of coruse, bouncing popsicles...

 Good luck..... :smt006

I might join you for this one. Let me know of the location changes.

AWR is the only place I have fished on the bay. The parking and launch are free and very convenient and I know the water there to some degree. Is there a better place on the east side that is not too windy? A friend told me that Oyster point is a good place for sharks.

I'm bringing a first timer so I want it to be hassle free. Unless you hear different we will be at ARW. I will be in a white f350. If the truck is there and we aren't then we are on the water. If the truck isn't there we are on our way.
