Launched at 6:45 loaded with fish and dive gear. Paddled out past the point in search of salmon. Small bait balls, a few birds, but no bites. Paddled back to the bay to hunt buts; again no luck. Finally speared a ling at the point.
Saw Chris on the way in; he was hooked up to his second ling!

Today was an other beautifully calm day, same as a few weeks ago when I took this pic about 3' away from the big point.

my lings were 7 and 12lbs, that surprised me that seems heavy. mike got shaker salmon in close, we caught some assorted rockfish and underlings. after i packed up i went to muscle rock to surf cast for stripers. the anglers there looked like zombies, blank stare"where are the fish?", i did not get any either
