I'm bringing up the rear! 

Indeed Hojo.  1st-3rd would have won last year...lots of great fish this year.  Get a BIG bag of popcorn because I don't think this sucker is going to be for sure until 12/31!

For myself, I am stoked with the fish I have been able to put in the box so far and I am 100% "in it to win it" and will fish in the snow if I need to!

For the Leepins...amazing father and son effort, something I'd love to do with Jelly or Paige someday.  Hats off to them and congrats on an insane AOTY rookie year.

There are others that remain a constant threat, Nate, Juan, Freddie, and Mahi all have buildable foundations as well and its a long way from over.

The difference between first and third place right now is a 16" salmon.  It may turn out that the salmon category separates the winner from second place.

With the monsters that the top 3 have put on the board, upgrading will be a challenge and thus they'll be chasin' down some salmon, starting ... um ... soon!  The question is whether it is north for the spawn or to the lakes for a landlocked. 

Indeed it will be fun to watch - a photo finish if you will.

The Leepins already have freshwater salmon.  In other words they are already a fish ahead of me, but only 40 points ahead of me.  If they are going to upgrade it will need to be from the north and it be 40 points bigger than mine! 

I'm gonna put my money on Fishhunter... he fought so hard last year for the sturgeon that never came.  I like a long-odds, come from behind bet!!!

       We are already recruiting for a New Years Eve launch........anyone in? Question is what will be be targeting and where?

Last year it was a Kokanee run with a snow launch...so idiotic it was fun!
