I recently purchased not one but two mini-x's and after the first few trips I got tired of hearing my lady complain how her "Butt is soaking wet and freezing."  So i hopped on-line and purchased some scupper plugs only to get scupper plugs that were
#1. WAY too big for a mini-x and
#2. expensive and ugly.

So i happened to be walking around the Good ol local sport chalet and saw some dive caps in the scuba section that looked almost identical to plugs and figured that since they were only $1.49!!!!  a piece i would try them out.  Took them home and used the dremel to make another string hole they worked PERFECT!!! No more listening to wet butt complaints!  Just thought I would let everyone know about this.

They are made by "trident" and should be in the scuba section, they come in blue yellow and black. here's some pics.

yeah i tried the golf ball but found they popped out either too easily or it was hard as hell to get them out, i like having the strings to pull them in and out, maybe i just had the wrong foam golf balls. either way i mean whatever works is better then the expensive ones they sell in stores as actual scupper plugs.

My lady complained of the "MX Wet Butt Syndrome" also. I have some foam golf balls I use on the P13, so I'll try those first. The caps are a great idea too. Thanks.
