Well I final made out to try some salt. There were a total of 9 Yakers out there today and conditions were perfect, except for no fish. It seems that Sharky and his crew cleaned them out earlier this week. Only a few had live bait. My friend Paco and I were soaking frozen Herring and I also tried a jig. There was not much action on the FF either. But all in all I enjoyed the paddle and the drift with Malibu Two, Findthatfish, Kingfisher and a few more that I forgot your names. Hope to do again soon when the bite is on.

Yep - I killed the bite by showing up, as usual...sorry guys!
I had one strike that stripped the herring and managed to miss the gauntlet of hooks hanging from my bait. A good upcurrent paddle and my arms are like lead now...nice meeting everyone out there.

My cousin Jared and I headed out to ARW this morning to a superlow tide. Also brought along my brother & his girlfriend and introduced them to kayakfishing. Sharky came thru bigtime and let us borrow his kayaks, thank you Sharky.

It was a very long paddle against the current making our way to the fishing ground. When we'd get to our ideal spot would drift back towards the wall very fast. I'd paddle 300 feet past the first marker, turn around grab my pole to bait and end up at the wall again.

Both Jared & I got good hits with headshakes but didn't stick. My brother was the only one to get a hali to the boat, it was short by 1/2" so back he went. That was a total tease.

Even though our arms fell off all in all we had a good time. My brother & his girlfriend had a blast.

It was nice meeting all you guys out on the water. Fish with yall again soon.
