SUP = Stand Up Paddle board.

Having toooo much fun on a SUP lately so I decided to venture out to Stevens Creek on my day off. Paddled all over the lake....not hard to do when the lake is really low....BUT before I could even get my board wet, I had to pass inspection (which I did)

...was hoping to look for fish along the shoreline but the water was in full algae bloom = zero vizz :smt011 But I did manage to find a big floating carp right next to a little bluegill...how they perished....I don't know :smt009

By the way...did I mention that it takes mad skillzz to balance on a board while taking cools shots of smelly decaying fish :smt002

Mooch why are they inspecting you? Usually they want to inspect your watercraft.  :smt044

Being on a SUP....there's always that chance of those nasty zebra things crawling up your speedos  :smt104

Anyway, no sign of life...even the cormorants moved on to more bountiful waters....

The nice thing about the SUP...when you need a break...you can always sit and paddle it like a kayak :smt002

Before I left, the tide dramatically changed and caused some serious wave action....here I'am dropping down. Lucky for me, there was someone on the bank who was able to capture the moment...
