I drove by on Tuesday, August 12, and from the freeway it looked awesome.  I can't wait.

According to an article I read in the Modesto Bee a couple months back, it is scheduled to open Friday, October 3rd.  Guess we won't be congregating on opening day or weekend.

This is indeed a very exciting event, but please don't forget the local shops that have helped many anglers in that area. Tim at Fisherman's Warehouse (Delta Bait &Tackle) has shared his knowledge with many anglers over the years and has helped some move on to careers as pro anglers (Mike Reynolds, Kent Brown, Andre Moore, etc.)
Don't get me wrong, I'll go and check it out also.
But when it comes time to purchase at least give them a shot.
You might be surprised especially in the after sales service.

For sure!  Although I can't wait to step foot inside the new BSP, when I'm near Manteca, Fisherman's Warehouse (formerly DB&T) is my go to place.  My father introduced me to it and while growing up, I wouldn't think twice about making the trek from Modesto.  I always like to support the little guy.

            FW has hosted Fish Reel tuneup classes Allen T. , free Derby
with a Yak as a prize from Eric and,a Rod Jig from KZ.
