Got to the ramp at noon after chores and the wind was still down untill i got the boat in the water. i knew things didnt look great. No live bait. bad tide and now serious sheep were out.The thought of big lings coming over the rail up in Elk made me determined to go fishing and have fun. Found the whole area to be full of seaweed. All alone out there in some serious wind chop and finally a guy on a tiny RIB pulls up nexto me. I recognized him. A few weeks ago when i was testing out an oversized bait tank stuffed full of bezerkely chos i had given him a bunch of bait. He was out with his son without live bait and hadnt caught anything. after he got he chos he got 2 nice hali and was thankful for the bait. Well yesterday he said he had been all the way to TI on this tiny RIB in snotty conditions. He gave me 2 shiners. That didnt even help. Off the water by 5 30 with nada.
