Anyone fishing trinidad area this weekend?

new to the site and sport, have kayak and will be in trinidad area over the weekend would like someone to show me the ropes! Thanks, Tad     Redding CA

Haven't been there for several years.  The area around flatiron rock usually has some fish.  Last time I was there I got only three blacks, but a couple of guys in an aluminum boat limited.  I think they had green shrimp flies, and I had only blue and red.
