According to NWS ...

CAPE MENDOCINO TO PT ARENA OUT 20 NM-
.SAT...NW WIND 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 5 FT. NW SWELL 7 FT.
 AREAS OF FOG.
.SUN...NW WIND 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 4 FT. NW SWELL 6 FT.
 PATCHY FOG.

Just keeping an eye on this one.  I know it's a little early, and the forecast can change dramatically between now and Saturday.

Of course
POINT ARENA TO PIGEON POINT TO 20 NM-
.SAT AND SUN...NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 3 FT.

Point Arena is ~15 miles south of Elk, so we're closet to the boundary between these 2 regions.

Yep, I have been watching the weather too.  Looks like I might be using my new drift chute.

its been the same for days up here. lots of fog, some wind, some wind chop,    no real swell.  fishable, but a drift chute might help.  fished near there last weekend, caught some lings and cabs.

It's sunny and warm today.  No wind and about a 5 foot swell.  Very good fishing conditions.

Looking good still.  A little wind will keep the fog off of the deck, and the the swell is NW and that is the preffered direction as its fairly sheltered at the launch from the NW.
