Fished jackson meadows res. on the 16th for nada. Slept there and moved on to higher altitude Faucherie lk.in the morning. On the rocky mountain pass to the lake bill needed to take a leak, and when we got out we heard rushing water nearby, so we investigated. Found a culvert and a nice pool. imediatly spotted dinks. One took on my first cast, but poped off, next cast i got a nice brown and released it. We continued to the lake, but heard meger reports from people getting off the water. we pushed on to Fuller wich had recently been stocked with "catchable" browns. Upon arrival we saw numerous stringers of pan size browns. apparently they wernt picky, but the green damsel fly nymph was the hot ticket. we hit it in the midday sun and were still able to pull on a few.

Nice report Sharky and even better Brown.  I'm guessing it didn't fit into the net that is in the background.  That must be one tough thumb of yours to lip that bastard.

That's quite the "Oh, BTW..."   :smt107  I too am glad you survived and are one of us.

Faucherie, Fuller, Bowman, Penner... Oh, Man, those lakes bring back the memories - we partied our asses off up in that country when I was in college.  It's an awesome area.  Thanks for the report.   :smt001
