You've always got to love a new boat! That looks like a nice one! I don't think I could do the Hobbie thing myself, but it looks good on you.

See you at Elk Mike!

Great boat. Nice choice. If they gave you the hatch tackle box (cylinder) this is how I rigged my electronics. Simple, snugg, and dry. Also check out the RAM mounts that fit in the sail mast slot. Enjoy.

Tote,

It was good meeting you in the parking lot at DL Bliss.  Congrats on the new Hobie.  It just like a normal yak but faster and hands-free.  One word of warning -  beware of the yakgina when surf launching w/o the pedals...

That one needs to go in the NCKA dictionary.

PAL or Sean coined the term, IIRC...  not as much fun as the other 'gina; just saltwater, sand, and rocks shooting at your face as you paddle to clear the surf...

Oh, I figured it out, it's a perfect description.  I guess I was thinking it needs to be added to the wiki page about NCKA terminology.

Yakgina was coined while drunk in Colonet with PAL and Chef.  PAL Adventures was like a blowhole in the surf zone...funny trip!
