The Description looks wrong the minis have needle nose and side cutters like the picture.

Do those things cut through braid?  If not, and I guess even if so, what do you guys use to cut through braid? I used to use the floating pliers which did really well at cutting the braid but weren't much good at anything else.

Now I have some needle nose pliers with a cutter but they don't cut through the braid very well.

check this out, titanium (NON RUSTING) scissors. you might want to grind the pointy tips down a bit, but there you go for your braid cutting.

btw, I have been using that titanium dive knife that mooch posted about a while back. it cuts braid. I really like that thing for on the kayak use. not sure how titanium sharpens tho...

I have a pair of those rapala scissors, they work fine. Or else I just use a sharp knife, but you have to hold the line tight.
