Hi Yakers:

I have seen this style early on and always wondered if anyone has fished or dove off of a Royak? The Blender Mod is cool for making Crab bait. :smt005

Funny you should ask...I actually have an original Royak. My grandfather was really good friends with Roy and dove with him for many years up and down the California coast. A couple of years ago my grandfather handed down his Royak which was actually the first production model made kayak back in the 1960's before they had serial #'s. As far as diving from them they are great but fishing the can get a little tippy since there total width is only 23". They are definitely tippy, but great for paddling and are extremely fast in the water. Attached is a picture of me playing around up by Folsom prison.
