Portable FF

I'm looking for thoughts about the Hummingbird Rod Mount &/or Wrist Mount FFs.  They seem too ideal for yak fishing.  No gluing, holes, batteries or clutter..

I haven't used one but I doubt that they'd really do much. It may be able to find the bottom but outside of that I wouldn't count on much. Also mounting on your rod or wrist are kind of awkward places. Just my .02 cents.

I agree, I saw one used at Moutcha, kinda useless IMO,  But,

 I picked up a Pirahna 215 Portable that works Awesome, Runs on 8 AA's, been out 7 times with it and still running strong..

Great Backup when my Fancy stuff takes a Poop.....

Worthless gimics.  An Eagle 242DS is a much better fishfinder for the same price.
