Ok,

I recently found something new (to me) on Google Maps. Go to http://maps.google.com/ and zoom into an area close to where you want to look. Next click on the "Street View" tab in the window. It will give you a street level view of the area. The only areas that are covered right now are the ones outlined in blue.

Apparently they have someone driving around in a vehicle with a gps antenna and a 360 degree camera on top of the vehicle.

It's kind of cool and scarry at the same time.

CHEERS!

Yeap!  Its been around for a lil' while now.  I use it on occasion to get a feeling for an area im heading too that I have never been too before.  Like MBK (still haven't been) I found that I could SEE the shop on the road, and have a good idea what to expect when I get there.

sweet tool for stalking...i was to meet Frankfishing at his house a few weeks ago, he gave me the address. I then google/street viewed it. Called Franks and complimented him on his landscaping and nice neighborhood too. He thought I was hiding around the corner or somewhere close....
like Al said, a good tool for seeing where you have yet to be.
