I am wondering if any of the NCKA members might be able to offer some help or suggestions. I have some materials that I need to get transported up to the property.

The biggest item is a 20ft shipping container. I can get one from the Oakland port for $1500.00. But they want $1750.00 to transport it up to the property.

The other material I need to transport is ten water totes. These are what we use to make irrigation systems for our plantings. These are plastic and aluminum water containers that measure about 4x4x4. They are light but bulky. I just got a great deal on them and moved them two at a time to my house. If I could find a long flatbed trailer that I could use, I could haul them all up at once. Otherwise, I will have to haul them up two at a time.

Best of all situations, is if I could find a less expensive way to transport the container and then toss the water totes into it before shipment.

If you know where I might be able to get some assistance on this, please let me know.

Is the container on skids or are there wheels involved?
Can a flatbed tow truck haul it??
If so see how much one of those guys would charge you. Some of the crap they haul after a wreck cant be much worse than that.
