I know, I know..., no pic, no laundry..., but... Those who know me, know I'm straight up. 4:45 pm
launch from C.G., I met some guys just in from 60 miles out +, in search of albacore. They didn't have
a good day, but they did suggest that I should keep my eyes open for a furbag, inside the jetty, a
floater, w/big bites at tail and neck! Couldn't believe it! First thing I saw after launching, a big harbor
seal, 100 yards from boat ramp with one 12" to 16" bite taken from the bottom rear and smaller, maybe
6" wide grab around it's neck! Had to be recent, No bloating, etc. Couldn't believe it! Continued to fishing
grounds, w/fair results, but if there hadn't been so many other furbags still out there and shelter in the
kelp, I would have thought twice... Too close to home, but 'tis the season...
