Hello all,

We are camping at Del Valle next weekend.  Are they okay renting an all day kayak to someone planning to fish from it? I know MBK won't do that so I want to make sure I don't have any issues to deal with.

Thanks for any info!

Kim
Love it!

Hi Kim:

You may fish on their retail fleet as long as you sign their waver and share your catch with Alex and Jack. :smt005

Not sure but know that they don't open the kayak rental shop until 10AM and it closes at 4PM I believe.  I know because I'd thought about renting from them, to do exactly what you're wanting to do, but when I found out the hours I ditched that thought in a heartbeat as it wasn't early enough for my liking.

Good luck.

Michael

Don't know myself, but consider renting from Mel Cottons instead.  They have a few differn't yak's and don't mind fishing afaik.  They have a pretty reasonable rate for 3-days, and I believe they don't count the day you pick it up, or drop it off.  Only downside, you have to transport them...
