A body of mine went to reeds and said that they are closing the doors . The fishing gear is all 30% to 50% off. I am going to go over today and check it out. hope this can help some of you guys

I went by at lunch and the fishing gear is picked over pretty well. Lots of hunting stuff though.

20% off a wanna be Megabait that had a sticker of $18.99 didn't seem like a very good deal.....

I'm sad to see a local sporting goods store close it's doors, but I have to say the firearms dept there had the worse customer service I've ever experienced in a gun shop. 

Quite a contrast to the staff at the range in Santa Clara, who are all great guys.

Totally agree with you about their firearms dept. I purchased a Smith & Wesson model 27 .357 from them a few years back and I was treated like dirt..

It looks like they are dropping the fishing and biking dept's, then moving the hunting and firearms to the range facility.
