Launched late around 8am to good conditions with slow south to north drift and slight nw wind equalizing the drift. Very light chop and swell and the bite was good. Was able to quickly limit although mostly all small rf in the 1 to 1 1/2 lb size with the biggest a 3 lb red that felt bigger coming up due to a double hookup. The rest were gophers, chinas, blacks, and blues. Fished to 180 ft earlier, then shallow later when the wind picked up around 10:30am. But the best action was in the 60-80 ft range. Talked to a guy who fished slightly north of me and his buddy and him did the same. This was alot more fun than opening day! Saw a big crew down at the Fort. How was it down there guys?   Jim/redyak

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the report. Just so ya know, this year they changed the water depth limit again. It's back to 120 FOW. I'm still waitng for my first window when I'm not working to hit it.

Thanks for the info. Guess it's a good thing I didn't catch anything or spend much time at that depth! Jim/redyak
