Took my two nephews and my son to Angel Inland today at the launch there where a zillion other boater. I got there right at 6am it took us 1.5 hours to launch and get bait then off to Angel inland we went the water was flat as a duck pond.  We only caught two bat-rays in the morning until the tide started to move and the wind started to blow, we had lots of scratch baits and one 13.8lb in about 40 to 50 feet, my nephew lost a real good one he freaked when the fish was pealing out line he thought he should stop him buy thumbing the line and broke it off :smt013 I guess this is how we learn :smt010, the way it was coming up it was a big halibut next time. Off the water by noon .

Hi Pat,

I was also able to get the battleship out late around 10:30am and did a quick recon check on Dave and Duane and found them in safe waters near the Richmond flats.

I did fish Alcatraz with the fleet and was able to pickup a 15lbs Bass and lost several others.  I then proceeded to Paradise to get away from the wind and crowds.  It was hot at Paradise and we released several juvenile halibuts.  It was a great day and I'm glad to finally get out in the water.  Forgot the camera so no pics.
