The Party Boats are getting lots of striper there. I just cannot find it on a map. Anyone here want to give up the gps coordinates or an approximate area of the bay?

Thanks in advance

It's a small reef to the southwest of Alcatraz Island.

If you have Google Earth, the following file should help.

How deep is Mel's Reef? I want to go at the top of the tide, sounds like stripers are being caught. I also want to do this on the fly rod, some deep water lines, probably a T-14 or something.

Ther are several piles of rocks in the bay; each with its own name. The "Rockpile" is further NW of Mels.

The Morning Star is a TOP notch operation. I have fished on most of the local P/B's, they all do a good job, but Gordon does better(my opinion). He only takes 22 people out so you not elbow to elbow and he puts you on the fish!

I will be all over that Saturday in my 36 ft Albin. It will be mayhem if it's on. The drift is VERY fast and you got 50 ft partyboats charging up and down with wind chop, ferry wakes and tidal clash. Would be very stimulating in a kayak. We will try all of the rockpiles saturday.
