hey fellow yak fisher people,
will be going to treasure island with brother, kneetoe. company welcome to this hot spot for halis. earlier in week powerboater landed limits of halis for 4 people just 50 yards from shoreline and a few days before that he got limits as well. I know this spot hasn't been scraped clean because he was the only boater fishing this area while the others fish with the fleet. there is an unused boat ramp from where we will launch on the north end of the island. cya there.

Its blowing out there therefore i am canceling this invitation as I am not going and neither is kneetoe. As far as launching from there it looks doable but haven't tried it yet.

I have been meaning to ask others about this spot. I see if often while driving into the city over the bay bridge. It is often glassy near shore when everywhere else is blowning hard. It looks like there is a marina with a small accessible beach on the north side of the bridge, might be worth looking into? LMK what you find out, I thought this looked like a good hali spot, just need to recon it and pay attention to the current there.
