Have any of you guys used this this gel-filled seat?  Just glancing at it, it appears to be comfy.

Which SOT seat would you guys say is most comfortable?  Mulling over choices for a Prowler 15.

IMO: had 'em - did not like 'em. I'm looking for the perfect butt cushion as well.

I'd like to try out the GTS...looks comfy.

As far as butt cushions... I bought an Endurance Seat Cushion from Jim Sammon's website this winter... it has been a Godsend...  I'm 6'4" and ~290# and this thing provided me with some serious hiney relief.

Worth it's weight in gold.   It's a self-inflating deal and you can adjust the level of support with a little valve in the front of the seat.

Erik - does it secure itself to the original seat? I ask because some of the added seat pads tend to slide off.

It comes with industrial strength velcro to attach it to your seat.  Mine has stayed put pretty well, although recently I noticed the adhesive on the velcro pads came loose from the surface of my seat... sticks to the cushion just fine.  I'm thinking of sewing the velcro onto my seat so it'll hold for sure.

The gel guys are ok, that brandis better than all the rest by a lot.  We used to use em, but not anymore.  We can get inflatable pads for cheap, I just don't like them because they raise your COG more than you would think.

I once used an foam rubber mouse pad as seat cushion.  If you need extra cushion use two.  It's nothing fancy, but it works!

I bought one of those kids bathing suits that have a small inflatable inner tubes (at a thift store).  i cut the suit off and use the doughnut for my seat.  it works well for me.  also my local dollar Tree had foam kick board for kids in the pool.  I think that they would work well for a butt pad...and they cost , well, a dollar.
