I am dying to get back to the mountains for a kayak camping trip. Anyone else up for a mountain trip? We can either paddle our gear couple miles in to the wilderness section or camp at the drive in campground.

I am open to most friday - sundays through June and July.

Yeah, I would like too, but dont have the gear for that kinda trip just yet.  I mostly do "car camping" where I lug a ton of crap around, and just be lazy after fishing.  But someday, maybe this year, I'll put together a light camping gear outfit and give this a shot.  It sounds awesome!

The area around the inlet stream next to the wilderness camp is pretty much WFO year round for trout. Nice pocket water fly fishing on the stream also. I haven't been there for a few years but might be up for it.

Jeffrm20,

I'm from Arnold too. I lived there for 11 years. My mom stil does so I don't have to "camp." All I do is crash on her sofa or on the floor. I haven't fished Spicer in quite some time,bu have always done well. Remember the days of those big rainbows that used to be in there?
