" The Fellas " had today off school :smt052

so, as I'm picking up their friend for a play Date, I ask him if he likes to go Fishing?

 " I've never been Fishing..."   WTF!!!!....:smt103 :smt104 :smt101 :smt091

Not on my Watch!!!!  Blitz Home pick up some Rods, on the Lake by 10:15...

Kind of worried @ first, I can see a few shore Rats,
with no stringers in the water and looking dejected :smt009,

Bait up, orange power eggs, orange power tail, half a night crawler, and super scent gel " Corn ",

We Hooked up 4 in a Hour and the bite turned off,

Shore Rats Remain Scoreless and by this Time, Not liking us too Much.... :smt013

Good thing on the Early score, did  not take long... " Were Bored ".,," Can We Go..."

Of course that's My " Old Salts Talking "..
Maybe because it was shore fishing and not the Yaks...  That explains it,  how can ya go back...  :smt002

The Newbie was not complaining, he was totally jacked and Hooked :smt112

Started Getting Hot fast so retreated with a successful Hit and Run,

Can't wait to take him Home and surprise the Hell out his Parents!!!!

   "Fish for Dinner Mom!!!!!" :fishing1

 Little Intel...

While I was cleaning the fish at the station,
the regulars were saying the Bite does not turn on till about 10...

and that coincides with what I just experienced...

 Tight Lines EveryOne........ :smt006 . ....... Danglin

WHAT!!! Can't swim.... every kid should know how to swim.It should be a prerequisite for being a kid. My parents ended up dropping me in the pool and had me swimming before I was walking, mainly for the safety reason.  But anyways right on with taking him fishing.  :thumleft: I remember the younger days fishing with pops and also friends. It was some of the best times growing up.  :thumleft: RIGHT ON!  :thumright:

Good on you and the OldSalts!....you'll be taking him out sooner than you think.
I recognize that spot though, it was my "HotSpot" for a few years(preMadness)....it is a steep drop to flat bottom there, when the water is higher.
Never casted deep either, just a toss from shore!
Thanks for sharing your adventure down the hill! :smt003
