My wife in the Pro E and my 7 year old daughter and I in the X Factor launched from the Marin Yacht Club laser dock for an easy paddle down the canal for a lunch of Clam Chowder on the FUNKY deck at Western Boat.

Of course, I had to bring the rod in case there were any Stripers to be had.

There weren't...But the chowder at Western Boat is AWESOME!

Made the easy paddle back with the help of the wind and the tide and pulled into the dock.  The fish cleaning station is right there and I see a friend of mine standing there with his daughter.  Hmmm, is he cleaning fish?

Yes!  A 27lb. Halibut caught solo around Angel Island.  So I went home with a nice filet - not a bad deal!

First time on the yak since October.  I hope to get out on the water more now that this little project is (pretty much) complete.

Before...

During...

After...

Great report with several key elements:  fishing, of course; family - bonus; tasty lunch - style points; cute kid on the Gator Hatch of the X-Factor - a lot like me and my 8 year old girl; impressive project progress pics - WTG; a pic of a really nice halibut -  :smt007; and you got to take some of it home - capper.   :smt001

Thanks, Abking.  The last time I posted this way, the pictures showed up full size.  I used Image Shack as per Bill's tutorial both times, but it looks like they may have changed their interface a little since Bill did that tutorial (bottom of the NCKA home page if anyone is interested).  Any suggestions?

that's jacking your own thread!  Good Work!  Way to squeezeITallINTOone!

PIC TIP~download them straight into your comp. documents...then when you go to post them via reports....click on the Additional Options-then the BROWSE button. It will ask you where?(which file) choose the one you just downloaded.
that's where you can copy the pic&paste it there  or  double click on the pic. you want to post and it should apply into that box....click BROWSE again and do it again. I do three or four at a time, if the pics are too big(file size) it will give you an error mess. saying files too large.....just resize in the comp. and your good to go.....If you stick with the three uploads at a time...it should alway work.
Hope it helps...if not? I sit at my desk/comp most of the day6-4pm...PM me when you have some time and I'll walk you through it over the phone if needed.
I too had troubles and needed help.

Schoolie when in Image Shack "view image" to open the full size image before copying image location. I did the same thing before, I just tested a upload and it worked.
