Despite being land locked for a while, Stuart can still show "how it's done" even with the tough bite!

My score for the day: a few smallish RF (all released) and kept this nice cabezon caught in 8 FOW right next to the Island - using a megabait iron with a single hooked bucktail...

Even with the beautiful scenery surrounding us, it was kinda spooky just knowing that Ano Nuevo was just around the corner  :shark

Sweet report guys!

Frank, thats a grass RF, not a brown. Grassies make the best rockfish meals.

Thanks SC always get those confused.

Fantastic report of a meeting of some of NCKA's power-elite!  Great water conditions.  Awesome photos.  Lotsa fish shots - good stuff!

Fond memories of Pigeon Point and the surrounding areas.

Mooch - that poppy photo is pretty magical.   :smt007

Dude! Am I not in the club yet or what?
How comes no one told little ole' Piscean 'bout the "secret" meeting at PP on memorial day? :smt010
Coach called me up from the "Minors" at 5pm Sun....."there's a little LEGENDS gathering at PP tomorrow, we want you to be there @ sun-up, the conditions are gonna be good. If you don't show?, you will NOT be getting another call. "Once your out of the circle, your OUT OF THE CIRCLE!"...click.....bzzzzzz.  :glasses6:

I don't know who it was, but I gathered up my stuff and set my biological alarm a half hour early.  :smt003   who know what's gonna happen to me now, I get called the "bigs" and then STRIKE-OUT badly...could be sent back down before the "opener" :smt089   canWEcallTHATaPRACTICE-GAME?

///// SPECIAL ALERT/////
That rocky just put me in the top ten, after looking at my last fish, I saw that the mouth was open on 2 of them, it wont happen again and if its the will of the masses, Ill deduct a quarter inch off the ones in question.... either way, IM HYPED NOW!!! Its a madness I tell you!!!
Smallies beware!
Way to MAN-UP Ben!    :smt038

the highlight was teasing joel with the many snake like sticks and kelp we found along the beach! :smt005
:smt005       the best one was that SlittheringShoulderKelp-Python!  I saw it comin....but Mooches "blood-curdlin' sceam"   :laughing7:   STILL scared me!

Great report guys! sounds like I missed another good time...I went to bed about the time Adam got up...
Dude?!.....where you been?

Coach called me up from the "Minors" at 5pm Sun.....

It's all good bruddahs!
I enjoyed my little solo-mio time. I had some new gear to try out (so's I don't fumble on "the big day")!

I'm just ansty for some 2008 NCKA hookups. Maybe this year I can sneak into "the majors". I have a secret weapon now and Lingzilla is on my list. I'll even give you your jig back FH!

Anyway, great pics & report. It's all about taking advantage of the weather windows we get & I'm happy that you all did!
