Hey do any of you guys in the Humboldt area want to fish next week? I will be visiting friends in Arcata and I'm bringing my yak along. How bout some weekday rockfishing at Trinidad? Maybe Cape Mendocino if the weather cooperates? Any of you local guys have any free days next weeK?

Hey, Mike.  I'd be glad to hookup.  I base it on weather, and I have some flexibility at work.  So if it gets flat next week let's do it.  Keep in touch.

Mike and Eric,
We are in Eureka with a team competing in the Kinetic Sculpture race Sat., Sun., & Mon and will have our kayaks to escort "race vehicles" during the water leg, soooo it is possible for Walker and I to sneak in a couple of hours fishing on Tuesday Morning before driving home. Any possibility of connecting then? Had not originally planned to fish on top of all the logistics involved with the race, but your post showed up and well, why not? By the way Eric, loved all the double hookups on your video!!

We've got a trip planned (as of the last hour or so on PM's...) for Monday morning at the crack of dawn at Trinidad.  Swellrider, FishinMike, beenfishin and myself will likely launch at the harbor and paddle north a few miles in search of lings, rockies and maybe an ab or two.  That's going to drain my WAF and I have to work Tuesday, BUT...  if it's epic I may have to call in sick.  Not likely at this point, and you'll be burnt from all the kinetic madness.  If you finish the race and you're still up for it get to a computer and PM me about it.

Have fun with the race.  Maybe I'll see you guys as I live near the course.  What sculpture are you helping with?

Steve,
I may well be free for fishing Tuesday morning, and if so I'd be glad to meet up with you guys. I'll send you my contact info.

We will be with the 'Glory Hogs" team. Easy to identify, reclining tandem with a big pink pig's head and equipped with a BQ to stop and grill hot dogs for the crowd. All about fun and the spectators. We are new to the team, but the team goes way back and we are fortunate to be added on.

We can't make that time, but good luck. If time permits we will try and pop over just to say hi.

Hope it is and you do.

No doubt, but Walker is super fit and young and I'm just stupid. I suspect we will be on the water Tuesday early before the drive anyway.
