Arrived to my delta spot at about 5pm to find very very windy conditions and some nasty stirred up water. Light boat traffic. Paddled across to fish a few breaks out of the wind. About 20 minutes in while throwing my new favorite lure that is proving me some good fish, I hook up with a nice 16 inch striper that was bleeding very badly, I hope it made it. After that it was pretty slow, few bites far and between. As I am working a bank a fish picks up my senko and it is fighting funny. A catfish! Funny! Finally around 8pm the winds die down to glassy water. I toss a senko at a pocket and see a big swirl. Fish on! After a good solid 5 minute fight, I get the fish to the yak. I see huge shoulders and a long length! After I pick her up out of the water I see she is skinny and spawned out. I weigh her and she comes out to 8.2 lbs. Definitely could have been a 10 pounder if she was stuffed full of eggs. I fished till about 9:30 with lots of small stripers and one more small largemouth in the mix. I am glad I went out today. I almost said no due to the heat. In the last pic, that is the moon at 9:30 pm. I could have fished out there all night if there was some big stripers in the area lol. Pics below.

Another great report Jeff.

Hog of a LMB! :smt007  Is it just me or does her jaw look a little jacked in the picture where she is laying on your lap?

Looks quite serene and downright peaceful.  I can see why staying out late would be easy to do.

Yeah I would have to say the fish has been caught many times. It's mouth had lots of holes and rips.

Nice fish Jeff, WTG!  Three species in one night...cool!  Senko bite is HOT right now.  Keep up the bass hunt, and we'll hook-up to double our chances at a big mean mama soon.
