Nice post PK.  You owe me a good monterey trip one of these days after blanking me on the last two in 07!!   :smt044

It was fun to run into everyone again at Monastery on the way home from Sur.  Me and Great Bass 2 were hauling ass home norhtbound on Hw1 when Scott spies Etienne's car again.  Screeeeecch, he pulls a Bo Duke left turn into the parking lot cutting across oncoming traffic.  OK, maybe I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea.

Good to see ark and his friend and mosca, too.  Hope we can all get out together soon.

Yeah Martin. It was nice to see you again and Patrick as well. We should head out again soon.
I'm planning to hit LK again next Sat as Etienne and Scott will be there. If you get the chance maybe we can fish together. Gary (Sandman) might also join. Hopefully I'll be catching other fish than Canaries.

Sorry to hear about your day Damain but it was still great to meet both you and Pat out there on the water. I had a rough start to the day trying my first surf launch down at Limekiln and got eaten up pretty rough twice . It was great to meet James and Ark down here then we decided to go up to Carmel and fish. I got a lot of info on how to handle this and will make a lot of modifications to my approach and gear setup. I need to be able to get out with the big boys to catch the big fish at Limekiln next time I head down there. Just need to get a little better on the launch and soon I'll be reeling in the 32" Lings like Sakyak :smt003 . Look forward to seeing more of the NCKA out there on the water soon.
I'll rest when I'm dead!

Jim -

Don't feel bad. My first time there I went swimming twice and loss a rod and reel. The shore break at LK is really deceptive and many have gone swimming and/or lost equipment. One thing I learned last year is that as long as you are dressed to swim and rigged to flip, the surf actually adds to the experience/addiction. As Etienne says, "makes you feel alive".  :surf  Hope you made good use of the squid.

Hey Damian... take one dramamine the night before when you are going to bed and another in the morning at least one hour before hitting the water... Always works for me!
