So after being on my new yak for about 4 or so months, I finally decided what was making me so uncomfortable. I am 6'3" and 255 pounds. After about 5 hours on the water my legs were falling asleep and my back began to hurt. It was the factory adjustable foot rest. I took them out and sat in the yak, perfect! I can flat foot the 45 degree footwells and still have enough room to push against them for stability. Now my only next modification will be some waterproof grip tape for traction. I used the factory hardware to fill the previous holes, but I will eventually make a nice aluminum plate that I may end up padding. Any ideas for waterproof grip tape?

Jeff

I had tape on the bottom of my drift boat but it kept coming up and dirt would stick to the edges so I bought some Skid-No-More rubberized paint masked the bottom with tape painted and ripped off the tape looks great and wears a lot better than the tape.
