I’ve debated about whether I want to sell my nearly new Marauder, but someone should really be having fun with it on the water.

It's a light olive green and has four Scotty flush mounts (the round screw-in kind with the sealed bottom), a clam seal for the fishfinder wires (FF not included), a Scotty surface mount for the FF, and a Scotty surface mount on the stern for a Scotty anchor lock (included). Note: It doesn't have the huge center hatch, which, to me, was fine because I liked the flat surface to work on.

Asking $700 on NCKA (probably a bit more if I advertise on craigslist) since I purchased it new and didn't use it very much. PM me if you're interested.

I've got one with the factory installed center hatch. if had it to do over again, I'd install the hatch myself a little further forward than they put it.  So no hatch yet might be a plus.

Janice,

I really want that boat, but I am such a tight a$$ that I won't let the money leave my pocket. I will pass it on to a friend of mine. Great looking boat! See you at CSBA or Elk or BAM!

CHEERS!

Luv the color J is that a Genaration I or II?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

My Marauder is still looking for a good home. You'll love this boat--make me an offer!

Hey Janice,

I'm interested in picking up a second SOT yak for yakless hommies that I'm trying to lure to the dark side... and I also like the color of your yak (stealth green, beware ducks!)...

...but,I haven't paddled a Marauder... could you arrange a test paddle for me?  I could do this Friday or Sunday or Monday... if you want, we could meet somewhere and try to catch a halibut too, like Alameda Rock Wall, Berkeley, or Oyster Point.

Whadayathink?

You betcha, on both counts. Let's do a halibut run at Alameda Rock Wall so you can test paddle the Marauder. Either Sunday or Monday is fine. I'll PM you.

Sounds great to me... let me look at the tides and see if there's a preferrable day... if we go on Sunday I may bring my non-fish'n better half with me (she rolls in a Necky SIK).

I'll pm you my digits...

Ooh, on second thought, my better half hasn't a clue that I may be getting a second yak... could be I don't bring her on Sunday, or we meet on Monday and she just discovers it in my garage (if I'm inclined, and I think I will be).

Cheers, Backcountry

Hahahaha!  :smt005  I have considered that approach myself, but have thought better of it.  Don't recall where I heard this, but a quote comes to mind:

"It's always easier to ask forgiveness, than it is to get permission"

Hope you like the ride!

And J, you gonna ever show some pics of the "upgrade"?

A soon-to-be NCKAer bought my Marauder today so now I have to nudge him to sign in and join the madness! Thanks for the referral, Hightide!

Janice aka "Big J"

PS: Pix of my new ride will be posted soon--I'm almost finished "pimping" and will seek a photographer.

Good for you!  Works out better for me this way as I think I'm going to need to build some FAF (fiancee approval points) before I all-of-a-sudden show up with another boat.

...and Janice... did you get a "new" new boat?  I thought you got that day-glo green ride last year and that was your new yak?

Way to go if you're upgrading again!
