Windy Rancho Seco 06/04/08

On the water around 7:45am, off at 10:30am. Looked real nice when I got there, a little breezy, but not bad. Fished the north east side of the lake for a while. Then the winds picked up, a lot. Got so bad I backed my kayak into the water plants to stay put. Had to cast with the wind so I fanned the casts to cover the area. Caught 2 little dinks and one nice 17" fatty. Only saw one other person on the lake. He was in a float tube. Bet he had a hell of a time getting back to the ramp.

Great report, Al.  You're on a little run of fun lately - way to make the most of it and thanks for sharing the Good Times.   

I think they would have seen me unloading my kayak at that point.

I was gonna say somthing about the fish, but I forgot what I was gonna say after that last pic. 

Way to stick those LMB at Seco.  We should hook-up sometime and do a tag-team on the bass in the delta.  Bring the girls too.

I didn't plan my week very well. Should have went to the lake this morning.

I knew Al had something good to post, since there was NO MENTION of a RECON-Mission.  
Looked like a good morning to paddle, until the hurricane hit....at least you got to "trough" something. Thanks for the SpecialPic added to the end!
