riding each morning of the meeting to get myself in the right frame of mind.  Depart at the park at 0630 sharp.  The ride is a little over an hour at a decent pace, SUPER fun!

Sean:

If I can motivate to get up that early I will join you.  I have the bike in the shop though, so hopefully I get it back in time.  Are you going both days.  I thought we only needed to be there the first day.

Jim

P.S. could you bring me one of your stickers.  I have a new vehicle that is naked without one.

hey guys-- don't know if you have ridden it, but Camp Tamarancho out in fairfax (my backyard)- only 15 min from china camp- is way way better.  It is more technical, all singletrack loop of 12 miles- with options to make it longer/more single track (including epic and famous "solstice").

its about 1:45 loop (+ or - 15)

I'd be happy to show you the area if you haven't been before. Not for beginners BTW

Not only have I ridden it I worked on the BTC crews that built it.  Not supposed to ride there without a permit no?  No tengo permit.  China is so close to the hotel its where I'm headed.

Jim-call me about the meeting.  You are out of the loop big time.

That's funny that you worked on it. I used to ride sections of that way way back when before it was an "official" trail.  i'm heading out to help work on Bill's trail at the next set of trail work.

if you are actually interested, then I've got permits for ya if you need them....
You must be staying at the Embassy suites?

Jim Jacobsen and the BTC put me in office.  Swinging a McLeod was the least i could do.

MS-ALL day tues and weds.  Public comment is near the end of the day on Tues.

Sean:

I'll try and call you sometime tomorrow.  I'm out for the bike ride.  I took my bike into the shop today, and I won' get it till Wed.  Bummer.  ya I know I am out of the loop.  But from what I have read, 2XA scored pretty well.  That's good!  I hope Karen isn't still flyin my flag cause I told her I was out a while ago.
