must be all that time spent in SE asia climbing...or maybe its just the cumulative years of sleeping outside!

Way to go Steve.I  was hopeing someone whould score.Ive been out 3 times the last2 weeks trolling from yacht club,elephant rock andfort baker with only a couple of rock fish.Im glad you did well.

I keep wondering if there are fish over at Chrissy field yet....i'll bet there are, but just not many. Seems like Berkeley is getting fished out already

It was outstanding.  Steve was so dialed in and even outfished all of the power boats trolling the same area.  Many had only or two fish at the most.

When the big one got away, Steve cursed like I've never heard him before.  But Steve knows I can emphatize.  He was fishing right next to me when I landed and then lost a similar hali at Pedro Point several years ago.  That haunted me for a long time.
