Hi Yakers:

Look like a good deal for a Eagle 168 or should I pick up
a 245Ds Portable?
                                                              Thanks

if you wanna see structure and fish I'd go with the 245 it has a dual speed transducer, if you just want it for depth I'd go for the 168.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

KFS has a Eagle Cuda-242 for $119 and Hummingbird Piranhamax 210 for $79 comparable prices to the ones you are looking at, just best to check them all out, information is power...

I personally don't know which to get, i've been looking for a while and want a good one, but don't want to spend $300.00
