Went to the pond, as Alfredo likes to call it, on wed I know kinda late to be reporting but hey better late than never.  Got on the water about 8 and fond there was only one other boater out.  Conditions were excellent, sunny warm and every so often a slight breeze, the kind that keeps the nats away, pesky little bugs.  I am happy to say I broke my dry run of being skunked for over a month now  :beer3, ended the day with 4 keeper bass, which were caught on the "magic warm" releasing all of course, and a very rare find.
I was in the back hand cove of the lake, exploring as I like to do, and in amongst the peacefulness of the lake I see an aluminum boat hanging out surrounded by black berry bushes.  finding this odd to me I take some pics. and bring them to the office.  Turns out some old man lost his boat during the night  a wile back and they have been looking for it since.  Needless to say they were excited that I found it.

Cool adventure, chewsterr.  I'll bet you were glad to NOT find a body in that boat!   :smt103

very nice.  I need to make it out there soon.
That seems like a long way for an unattended boat to wander...

Water looks nice. I love it when I have the pond to myself like you did. No pb pressure there. I've found plenty of balls and goodies that float away from the swim area, but never a boat!

I'll be on the pond or at the Meadows this weekend.(Maybe both :smt001).

unfortunately i have a funny feeling that it did not manage to float that far back all by it self, it had a few anchor lines thrown out but even if someone did anchor there was no way to get out. and yes i was glad to not see a body  :pupi, i think someone was trying to steel it  :smt009.  the old stash and come back with a way to get it home technique.  what is this world coming to  :smt012
