Photo of Perfect Abalone diving type of conditions.

This photo was taken 2 years ago early in the season for abalone. From this same spot i once watched baitfish in huge masses swarming in the ocean below. The baitballs were so big the football field sized masses of anchovies turned the waters black wherever they went. This was taken south of Fort Ross. on highway 1.

That is what it looked like opening day.
