Hey Stoggie - Why to go on that Ling! Here's a slant on the the story - I'm guessing you're a cigar smoker - AKA' Stoggie' - and it looks like one in your chops in the ling photos - right? I like a cigar too, but I've heard so much crap about the 'scent' on your hands and then your lure from tobacco that puts the fish off - what do you think? What does the board think? Is a smoke while fishing a BAD thing? I know I've caught many fish back in the day while chewin on a cigar or puffin a cigarette. Just a random thought,  let's see who responds. Tom

you can have my cigar when you ...cough...cough..pry my cold fingers of it!

i can't say for sure if it affects fishing or not, i am not an expert, however, I never fish without a chew in the lip and a cigar between the teeth, if you're gonna die, just as well get some fun out of it.

Besides the best way to catch a lot of fish on a party boatm is light a stinky cigar early in the morning and make help everyone get sea sick, then you can help catch the boat limit, works everytime!!

LOL  :smt044

I love a good cigar. I've got a humidifier but tend to only bring them to the random poker game or special occasion. I'm sure I'll bust out the stoggies when my little girl shows up next month  :smt004
