Had a few hours to kill before the girls had softball practice.

Launched the kayak at 3:30 and trolled around for 2.5 hrs. Towed a cast master and mini rapala for no bites.

Weather was great and it was good to get the yak wet again. The girls had 4 rods in from shore and soaked a mix of dough bait and power balls. None from shore either. I didn't see any stringers in the water or any other fish caught from the rest of the shore pounders.

Gonna try again this week drifting night crawlers.

I need wheel-eez!

Wow, haven't fished there since I stared fishing!  I remember some odd things I heard like there is a sturgeon or two in that pod as well as some really colorful Koi fish swimming around.  You can see the koi on occasion while walking along the trails apparently.

Personally, I would much rather goto Stevens Creek than here if I was gonna target some trout in the south bay.  SC has quite a bit more to offer, but less likely you can take your girls there and keep an eye on them from the water.
