Live bait butting in the East Bay 4/21-4/25

Now that the Berkeley marina is heaving with purchasable anchovies, I have to try and get out at least one day next week.

Anyone else game? Berkeley flats seems like a sensible choice, but I'm a novice at this. 

All mornings look reasonably calm weather-wise.

WED WED WED Dave and I will be going out Berkley for sure we will try to get smelt but if we can't
my livewell can hold a good amount of anchovies. so whats a scoop go for now?

Wednesday it is!

A "pier scoop" was 15 bucks last year. I owe Dave one for organising the PFIC Perch Derby, so the 'chovies are on me. A pier scoop should be more than plenty.

I phoned the bait shop this morning and they said there was no live bait yet, but i dont know if that ment that they werent booking live bait trips yet or what.they said there was bait in SF...?????

Live bait (anchovies)  are currently available in both SF and berkeley.

There is no bait shop at the berkeley marina.
