Got off work at about 3, real close to muir so's I went for some perch w/motor oil grub and nailed this piss and vinagar dink about 5 feet in front of me and he just screamed out like a shot, lost most of his umph on the first run, but it was strong! Maybe only 15 inch or so, released, of course.

Then I had an estimate that fell thru in Navato, so's I tried for some action on Galinas creek off Smith Ranch Road, tossing rattletraps into a very low tide and POW! goes this guy, he went 21" and will be dinner.

At first I thought that striper in the second picture was sitting on a forked stick driven into the mud of the bank.  I just realized it is just a stringer.  My imagination at work.  Still an awesome picture!
