played hooky...I can't resist when the weather and tides are good. So went "dry butt' fishing with a buddy.
Fished a bunch of places-- so let's call it 6-12 feet of water around pumphouseish area.  best seemed to be east of the house. water was summer green.

3 nice bass 6-8 lbs, plus two perfectly missed bites (both while i was netting), one that nearly dragged the rod over, and two flounder.  All on ghost or mud.

Plus the bonus-- two schoolie bass trolling on the way out from the dock- a double, and we didn't make another pass just kept on going.  For those of you who would guess who i was fishing with, then you know what and where that means.

how'd you do?  pump or the creggidor (sp?) should/would be a great place for stripers and/or sturgies...
I did get your VM, but was in Boston...my time is seriously limited with the small one crawling all over and wifey in heat of tax season
