I went to Shadow Cliffs and got two 5 lb 12oz trout on green power bait.  One was 22" and had a round tail.  The other was 24" and had a real nice tail.  The 24" hit and I was feeding it line and got a birdnest on my spool.  I had to play the fish up to the birdnest like 4 times before I got it to net.

I got pics of the fishplant at noontime.  The truck guy uses a net to let the fish into the water.  Mt. Lassen big trout and I think 500 lbs.

My laptop connection is not working.  So, pics will have to be later.

Marked a lot of fish....more than Quarry Lakes.  But, I think that is because Shadow has less of an area that the shore guys can fish on.  Quarry they can fish most of the lake.

Guys on boats were doing better in the middle of the lake.  Got too spy and see how they are fishing this way.  Most, are anchored up.  So, maybe just drifting powerbait with a few splitshots.

I was fishing 16 to 24 ft.  and the middle is from 35 to 50 ft.
