Folsom 3/16

Going to fish folsom for some kings. I plan to troll until my arms fall off. Will be downrigging some hardware at 40ft. I might get some minnows to drop down and drift, but most likely will troll all day. Company welcome.

7am launch. I need the salmon ATOY points as part of the domination plan.

Where are you launching from?

Maybe....I was behind a stump grinder for 9 hours on Friday. Not sure if I am ready to paddle yet. See what happens after the ibuprofen kicks in.

I was going to launch from Dyke 8 but the wind was killer. I left the house at 6 and decided around Elk Grove to turn around as there was a stiff wind blowing.

I was just checking the Folsom web cam, the Hwy50/Sunrise web cam and the wx reports.
The wind didn't look very kind.
Glad you scrapped it. I might see what Sly Park looks like later today. It was pretty cold here last night so I am going to wait until it warms up a bit and see what the wind is doing.

It would be tough trolling today in that wind.

I remember heading to Montey's with Jackson and the wind was so bad in Dixon we turned around. Fishhunter was there that day and it was FAC.
