Anyone know of any low cost decent kayak paddles? mine left me!

Well this weekend we were diving in Otter Cove and my kayak paddle came undone and floated off and most likely ran with the current heading towards Del Monte Beach. Its probably there somewhere. I hope nobody is worried that the kayak might still be at sea. Anyhow, im looking for a decent cheap kayak paddle and if anyone has any recommendations i would appreciate it! i had a BIC paddle from Aquan which was about 40.00 and it was comfortable and worked well for me. if they have another i'll just as well get it this weekend. i'd get a werner but cant afford to do so at this time.

also, this time i'll get a real kayak paddle leash as well. that should be better 

i dont lose gear usually but man, to lose a paddle, thats very LAME!

I've got a 230 cm paddle that you can have. And it's not an el cheap aluminum shaft one either. I can have it down in the Bay Area probably next weekend.

Hi Scott, that is super generous of you. I have a paddle on hold at a shop and I will be looking at it tonight. Would it be ok if I let you know by tomorrow if I get it. If we do end up meeting I would need to give you something for it or else it would not be right be it money or some spearfishing gear.

No sweat on letting me know "if". I can't state for certain, as this paddle came with the Tarpon and I just don't use it, but I think it's an Aqua Bound.

We can talk about an exchange, but there is certainly no need to involve money. You've got some nylon and a lathe, I've got an idea or two...

hi scott, i did end up getting a new paddle and thank you for your generous offer.

that said i would not mind machining what you need anyhow. i have some delrin, uhmw in stock. let me know what you need and i'll see if i have the materials to get it done. let me know what you have in mind and how you need it done!
