Loch Lomond - Sunday 3/16/08

Will be heading to XS-22L this Sunday with my wife for some fishin-WAF. Probably launch around 830 with shore lunch on the island at 1 PM. Will be on 69, company welcome!

I'm hoping to hit LL on Sunday but don't have a VHF (and I'm booked all day Sat so no chance to pick one up before I go).  Been meaning to fix that and I keep forgetting. 
 
While I hope to head up early, I'm not much of a morning person and my best luck on LL has been mid-afternoons.  I'll be pedaling a "Moss" colored Hobie Outback (I thought Moss was green and my kayak is essentially beige so Moss is a weird name for the color but that's what Hobie calls it).
 

Wish I could join you guys but I'm saving WAF for the 25th & 26th when I go up north.  I told the wife that I got a personal invite to Loch Lomond for tomorrow and I was hoping for a, "oh, you should join them" but instead she just shrugged it off.    Good luck guys!  Will be waiting for the report.

In addition to sandwiches, we'll bring something for the grill, not sure what yet.  A circuit blew at my house and my storage freezer thawed out last week.  Totally ruined all of my omaha steaks, boar sausages, etc.  so pissed, hundreds of dollars of food in the trash.  Anyway, i'm gonna hit the grocery tonight and we'll have a nice picnic tomorrow.  Conditions look awesome in the AM.  cool sunny with nice breeze. 

So all you lurkers, come out and join us!  See you on the island at 1PM.
